My curiosity for clay began in 2018. I spent hours watching videos about how ceramics are made by artisans around the globe. I was inspired by how this art form combines math, science, engineering and most importantly, creativity. Two years later I bought a wheel and setup a tiny studio in my basement.
I am Meghna Polimera, a software engineer who loves spending any free time finding new ways to engage with my creative side. Be it food or pottery, I love building things and making them look pleasing to the eye while focusing on functionality.
I am constantly drawn towards earthy tones and textures which also means a lot of imperfections. You’ll see this reflected quite a lot in my pottery. It’s also the beauty of handmade pieces, similar in many ways but also unique.
